Caprae Capital Partners
Internship Program Reviews and Shoutouts

When I first applied to private equity internships, I expected little dynamism—just industry reports and basic modeling. I joined Caprae Capital Partners because I hoped that working with a firm led by entrepreneurs might be different. Within months, I found myself sourcing billionaire family offices and leading seller and investor outreach, backed by writing a dozen detailed research reports that sharpened my understanding of Caprae’s investment thesis.
The highlight of my experience was working directly with Kevin on sourcing at trade shows in Chicago, London, and Frankfurt. His leadership is rooted in an unwavering commitment to those who show real hunger. The more I invested in the work, the more responsibility and trust I earned. Seeing him start his day at 2 AM with relentless passion inspired me to push harder myself.
What impressed me most was hearing Kevin engage sellers with vision and authenticity. Even compared to conversations I’ve had with Fortune 500 executives and Wall Street investors, his ability to connect was unmatched. My time at Caprae not only advanced my career in private equity and deal negotiation but also gave me a front-row view of the drive and vision required to build a truly great company.
Josh Barragan, Columbia University

Caprae was run with a level of operational efficiency I hadn’t seen before, thanks to Kevin and the team constantly refining processes. Even though we worked remotely, there were weekly meetings to review results, update deals, and train new interns, plus regional events and social hours that built genuine connections. Departments were structured around outreach, lead generation, research, and finance, with senior interns managing teams. This system allowed us to send 500+ personalized emails weekly, generate hundreds of leads, and book 5–10+ founder meetings a week—far above industry norms.
I interned at Caprae for about 9–10 months, overlapping with a full-time role at another firm. Looking back, I can honestly say I learned more here than in any other work experience. Kevin structures the program to reward top performers with more responsibility, which accelerates both personal growth and Caprae’s own development. For example, one co-founder even built an intern management system to track assignments automatically, and recruiting quickly scaled to hundreds of applicants per cycle.
Despite fluctuating between 20–40 interns, Caprae ran more efficiently than larger companies I’ve worked at with thousands of employees. There was no politics or busywork—only accountability, ownership, and opportunities for those who showed initiative. Beyond sourcing leads or drafting LOIs, I learned how to think about running a fund, how to meet with business owners, and how to lead a team. Many interns, myself included, have said Caprae was their favorite work experience—something rare among students and young professionals. That speaks volumes about the culture and the impact of this program.

I started my internship at Caprae in May 2021, the
main reason I wanted to join Caprae was to get familiar with the private equity and search fund space. Lacking experience in this field of work, I found Caprae to be an opportunity that incorporates my missing experience in the said field, aiding in my growth and development. When I started working in the research department, the team was still tackling deal 18. As of today, we are at deal 124, which really shows the milestones that the Caprae team has overcame and the number of companies and industries that were dealt with in a matter of months. One of the skills that Ilearned in Caprae is how to look at things from the investor’s point of view and put myself in their position. Another skill that I gained over this course of time is that of multi-tasking and paying attention to details. This adds to my repertoire of skills which are essential on a day-to-day basis. Adding to that, I got the advantageous opportunity of working in every department at Caprae in a simultaneous manner. Thus, time management and increased concentration were crucial skills that I was able to develop throughout my journey. All these skills acted, and still are acting, as an added value to my daily life as well as my career life. Caprae had many breakthroughs in the search fund space, such as having an international team (me being part of that), doing mockups and prototypes, having up to 39 interns at the same time, etc. Caprae has been smooth sailing ever since the very beginning. At the start, its members were just generating leads, but now, Caprae is composed of around 5 departments, each specialized in tackling different tasks. This comes as proof as to how much successes Caprae has been witnessing ever since its start; and with the efforts that its members are presenting, a bright future for Capre is expected to ensue

This experience has been one of the most valuable parts of my college journey so far. I had the opportunity to work on projects like building a Confidential Information Memorandum research paper, reviewing and personalizing over 150 client communications, analyzing 250+ handbooks each week to strengthen recruitment, and creating LeadGen reports to highlight new investment opportunities. Toward the end of my internship, I also joined the recruitment team, where I gained valuable insight into the internal hiring process. These responsibilities gave me a real look into how finance and strategy intersect, and helped me grow both my technical and professional skills.
More importantly, I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible people along the way. A special thank you to Kevin Hong for being such a supportive mentor where your guidance in business writing and thoughtful advice will stay with me throughout my career in finance. I also truly appreciated the opportunity to work with Ka Ming Li (Kamas), Jack Hu, Zackary Beckham, and Jamie Zhang, who made training and collaborating across different departments such a valuable experience.

These past 4 months have been a wonderful experience, and I am grateful to have been part of a firm making such a positive impact on the finance industry. I have learned so much here and believe something special is being built at Caprae that is more modern than any other PE firm I have seen. I’ve received great feedback on identifying quality leads and, more importantly, improved my writing to clients and business owners.
Kierran Corr, Harvard University

I’ve had numerous opportunities to learn during this program, but even more valuable has been what I’ve unlearned. Coming into Caprae, I had a narrow view of private equity. Over the past nine months, I learned to challenge assumptions—understanding why a seemingly “perfect” company might be rejected and why another with hidden potential could be a strong investment. Kevin’s ability to explain the growth rationale behind these decisions taught me to think forward and identify trends that shape the future.
This internship also gave me the chance to lead. After writing and reviewing nearly 60 industry and product reports, I built the confidence to guide a team and deepen my expertise. That experience has already helped me secure offers in the PE space as a research analyst.
Perhaps the most striking part of my time at Caprae was watching the firm’s rapid growth. I joined when the company was just beginning operations, and within months it had grown to over 120 deals. Experiencing that firsthand showed me how effective management, communication, and focus can scale an organization quickly.
This internship has been far from typical. It’s given me practical skills, leadership experience, and perspective on how disruptive finance and entrepreneurship really work. It has been one of the most impactful experiences of my career journey so far.
Sam Spire, Chapman University

What makes Caprae Capital stand out is its forward-thinking mindset and its willingness to engage critically with the evolving landscape of private equity. Rather than following a traditional path, the firm actively explores new ideas and models that aim to create long-term value with greater intentionality. Being part of a team that doesn’t shy away from asking tough questions about the industry has been both refreshing and thought-provoking.
Over the course of this experience, I didn’t just learn how to do the job, I learned how to think critically, communicate professionally, take on responsibility, and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments. I’m especially thankful for the chance to collaborate with a globally diverse team and to grow both personally and professionally.
This internship has also given me the chance to reflect on myself—deepening my understanding of work environments, leadership styles, and company dynamics, which has been especially meaningful as someone still early in my journey into the business world.
Special thanks to Kevin Hong, Zackary Beckham, Jamie Zhang, Jack Hu for your efforts and leadership in my learning.
Thank you to the entire Caprae Capital team for your mentorship and support!
Rana Esmer, Brown University

M.D. Arnold once said, “A good leader leads the people from above them. A great leader leads the people from within them.” Kevin Hong is what Arnold would call a great leader. With an unconventional background—from living in a van to becoming a successful entrepreneur—he brings a rare perspective grounded in management skills, tenacity, and compassion.
Kevin’s management skills are unmatched. He leads an international team of interns and professionals with minimal meetings, yet always makes time for mentorship and explains complex concepts in simple terms. His tenacity shows in the way he reviews work personally before deal meetings, which has resulted in exceptional deal flow in a short period.
Equally important is Kevin’s compassion. He gives interns opportunities to attend industry trade shows and fosters an environment of transparency, respect, and pride. At Caprae, Kevin doesn’t just lead from above — he leads from within — and that’s what makes the experience so impactful.
Isuru Hewamanna, University of Mississippi

I’m proud and grateful to share that I’ve completed my 12-week internship at Caprae Capital Partners as a Private Equity Intern.
This internship was more than just an opportunity to build skills. It became my first real step into private equity as an asset class and a place where I started to understand how businesses are evaluated, structured, and grown. I worked on projects ranging from email strategy and lead generation to market research, cold calls, and financial modeling, each of which gave me a better view of how capital, strategy, and operations fit together.
What stood out most at Caprae was the culture of critical thinking. The team is willing to question the way private equity has traditionally been done and to explore new models that prioritize long-term value. Being part of those conversations taught me to look deeper at company dynamics, leadership styles, and the factors that make investing sustainable.
Over these 12 weeks, I learned how to think more critically, communicate more effectively, and take responsibility in a fast-paced environment. I also gained a much stronger foundation in business, not just in technical skills but in how strategy, people, and discipline come together to create value.
This experience has been both professional and personal growth for me. It gave me the chance to see private equity in practice, not just in theory, and to reflect on how I want to shape my own career in finance moving forward.
A special thank you to Kevin Hong, Zackary Beckham, Jamie Zhang, and Jack Hu for your mentorship and leadership, and to the entire Caprae Capital team for creating such a supportive environment for learning.
Maksym Chikin, University of Southern Mississippi

I'm extremely grateful for the guidance and insights provided during Sunday strategy meetings and the respectable work everyone has put into their research to present and help us learn. I want to sincerely thank Jamie Zhang for introducing me to this opportunity that has transformed my perspective on how search funds could operate and Kevin Hong for the unique thought-leadership during every meeting; I've truly never seen a vision so trailblazing and game-changing. Wishing everyone the best!
Nicky Liu, Harvard University

After six rewarding months, my internship at Caprae Capital Partners has come to an end.
I had the opportunity to work on multiple live transactions from initial evaluation through to execution. I actively contributed to the due diligence process by conducting detailed financial analysis, evaluating key risks and opportunities, performing market and competitor research while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough assessment and support execution.
These experiences strengthened my ability to make informed investment decisions through rigorous deal, company and market evaluation, while deepening my understanding of private equity, the search fund model and the broader finance and investing landscape.
I’d like to extend special thanks to Kevin Hong, Jamie Zhang, Zackary Beckham, Patrick Nathan and Jack Hu for their continuous support, thoughtful feedback, and commitment to involving me in meaningful projects. Your encouragement and trust have made a real difference, and I’m truly grateful to have learnt from each of you.
Manav Mistry, University of Burmingham

After an incredibly rewarding few months, I’ve completed my internship with Caprae Capital Partners. I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute alongside such a talented and entrepreneurial team.
During my time at Caprae, I had the chance to dive deep into the world of private equity – sourcing potential investments, analyzing market fragmentation and trends, and building investment theses for high-potential opportunities. I also helped lead an internal AI strategy initiative, producing investor-facing media to strengthen firm branding and LP engagement.
Jake Yu, Boston University

I am grateful to share that I’ve concluded my summer internship at Caprae Capital Partners.
Caprae provided true hands-on experience from day one. Over the past three months, I supported live deal sourcing, conducted market research across multiple industries, analyzed financials, and contributed to internal deal processes. The pace was fast, the expectations were high, and the work pushed me to think more critically, operate with precision, and take full ownership. It was demanding, but that’s exactly what made it rewarding.
What stood out most was the culture. Caprae runs lean and expects you to think clearly, move fast, and deliver without excuses. Feedback was direct and constant, which forced me to raise my standards early. I came in thinking I knew how to work hard and think critically, I left with a much sharper understanding of what that actually means in a real investing environment.
Kevin Hong and Jamie Zhang, I extend my sincere thanks for your mentorship and guidance. You set the tone early, gave honest feedback, and carved out time to teach when you didn’t have to.
I learned so much from the entire Caprae team, and I plan to build upon this experience you provided me and carry it forward.
Domenic Persi, Xavier University

Caprae has by far been my most unique and captivating experience so far during my undergrad, and I can confidently say that Kevin Hong's Sunday speeches about level 1&2 geniuses, along with industry disruptors, will be things I remember 10 and even 20 years down the line. I'd also like to thank Zackary Beckham Jamie Zhang for their guidance and support on all of my deliverables throughout the term. Although my time with Caprae is coming to a close, I will definitely stay up to date with Caprae's ongoing initiatives they're posting about on LinkedIn. Thanks again to everyone for the opportunity, and I'm looking forward to seeing the future of Caprae play out.
Ethan Lord, York University- Schulich School of Business

From April to August 2025, I had the opportunity to join Caprae Capital Partners as a Full Stack Developer Intern.
During this time, I learned a great deal and was deeply involved in backend development, database architecture, API integrations, and data pipeline design.
A special thanks to Ukant Jadia, my trusted partner in tackling database and backend challenges, whether it was debugging, optimizing queries, or designing efficient solutions.
I also truly appreciate Ukant Jadia, along with Muhammad Rafi Syafrinaldi, Yash Jagdale, Jethro Lim, Shreeharini S, and Ridhun ks, for working side-by-side, sharing knowledge, and offering valuable feedback throughout this journey.
This experience not only strengthened my technical skills in Python and PostgreSQL, but also sharpened my problem-solving, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.

Thank you to Caprae Capital Partners, Kevin Hong, and Zackary Beckham, our project manager who consistently provided guidance, feedback, and solutions, for the trust and opportunity.
This chapter may be closed, but the lessons and connections I’ve gained will continue to shape my next steps.

Ananya Mittal, LSR, Delhi

I would like to sincerely thank everyone at Caprae for the opportunity to learn, relearn, and unlearn about the PE and Search Fund space. When I joined back in July, I was completely clueless — and while I’m still (relatively) clueless, I now know better how deals are structured, how to approach cold calls, and researching with sharper eyes. It’s been an invaluable learning curve.
I truly believe Caprae is on track to disrupt the lower to middle-market PE space and I cannot wait to see Caprae rock front-page headlines.
Thank you again for the guidance, patience, and encouragement over the past few months. It’s been a privilege learning from this amazing group of people. Big thank you to @Kevin Hong for the cold call lectures - you are truly amazing at what you do, and I’m inspired to work as hard as you in the future, @Jamie Zhang & @Azhar / Zen for helping me settle in these past months. @Radit

That project was a real highlight and an invaluable learning experience for me.

Paul Yoon, American University - Kogod School of Business

Since joining in late July, I've grown tremendously through every experience, whether it was lead generation that taught me patience with repetitive tasks and sometimes with some extremely difficult leads to find, researching unfamiliar sectors, contributing to the QA team, or cold calling and dialing countless numbers without a single pickup. Those cold call sessions with you, @Azhar / Zen and @Jamie Zhang, were particularly valuable. What Caprae is building is truly unique and will undoubtedly disrupt the Private Equity industry, creating a comprehensive database for all M&A deals, including the impressive Saasquatch leads work by @Zackary Beckham.
Being promoted to mentor intern and helping others who were once in my position has been an honorable achievement. I've thoroughly enjoyed these past few months and learned immensely under @Kevin Hong's leadership. I'm thankful to have been part of the financial revolution Caprae is leading.
Thank you to @Radit for always being responsive, and @Jamie Zhang for your constructive feedback on my work. I'd like to give special thanks to @Jamie Zhang, @Kevin Hong, @Sachiv Tahil, @Zackary Beckham, @Radit, and the entire team for your guidance, support, and trust in allowing me to be part of the leadership team.
To @Katherine Wu, @Aleks Krasimirov Kimov, and @Darvesh Gill, working with you has been fantastic, and I hope you achieve all your goals ahead.
@Kevin Hong, your "bleed and build" philosophy will stay with me beyond this internship. Learning about your experiences and perspectives during social hours was always a highlight of the Sunday meetings.
The journey has been incredible, and I'd love to stay connected. I'm excited to follow along and witness the impact Caprae will make within the industry.
Nour El Houda Ben El Harti, Groupe ISCAE

When I first joined Caprae, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I still remember bothering @Sachiv Tahil and @Jamie Zhang during my first week, asking what I should be doing, those early moments really set the foundation for what became an incredible learning experience.
@Jamie Zhang, thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of such an amazing Wickdale team with @Kamil Magomedov and @Gabriele Peyrano. The long days and late nights on Wickdale were genuinely some of my favorite moments, and I’m grateful for the friendships and teamwork that came from it. You guys were truly something special to work with. @Sachiv Tahil I really appreciate how patient and helpful you were whenever I had questions. You always took the time to guide me in the right direction, and that made a huge difference in my learning.
And lastly, @Kevin Hong , thank you for being such a great mentor throughout my time here. From giving feedback on my “double-dogging” emails to sharing valuable advice, you’ve helped me grow tremendously. I’m truly grateful for your mentorship and leadership. Caprae has been an incredible place to learn, and I’m proud to have been a small part of its journey. I’m confident the team will continue to achieve great things, and I look forward to seeing its growth.
Gulraj Dhaliwal, Santa Clara University

This was a big opportunity for me as I was able to learn a lot from it such as developing interpersonal skills, communicating with clients, and overall becoming more confident in my financial abilities.
It has also meant a lot to me that I have had the opportunity to connect with the people I have met through this program, and I am always open to communicating through other channels such as LinkedIn! I’m very excited to see how Caprae grows in the future considering how many deals it has been able to accomplish recently. I wish everyone the best.
Natalie Koziol, DePaul University

It has been an incredible experience working under Kevin’s guidance over the past 5 months and I feel incredibly lucky to have been brought onto this internship. Beyond your weekly insights in Sunday meetings Kevin your guidance for research and customer facing roles has been invaluable, and energising to say the least! Everyone at Caprae has been great and always feel free to reach out over LinkedIn! My very best wishes, it is very hard to step back at a time when Caprae is about to shoot up, I felt like I was just getting started! I do hope I can help out in some way in the future!
John Sergeant, King's College London

I’d like to thank the Caprae team for being such great mentors and constantly providing me with feedback to grow. From the first week I joined until now, I have learned so much from you all under your guidance. Caprae has been an incredible place to learn, and I can’t wait to see its growth in the future.

I want to thank @Kevin Hong and the Caprae team for this incredible experience over these couple months. I was able to learn and grow so much from this team. Thank you @Sachiv Tahil and @Azhar / Zen for helping me during cold call sessions.
I’m genuinely grateful for the mentorship, feedback, and opportunities I received throughout my time here. I really appreciate the trust the team placed in me and the time each of you took to help me grow.
Thank you again for everything. It’s been an honor to be part of the team.
Xian Ai, Questrom School of Business, Boston University

These past twelve weeks have genuinely been incredible. Working remotely across different time zones, getting deep into research, speaking directly with clients, and learning the nuances of deal structuring have all been experiences I will always carry with me.
I have loved every challenge you threw my way. I would still love to remain your best cold caller out there, in spirit at least. I truly appreciate your understanding and I wish you and the team all the best. Thank you again for everything.
Rachel Loo, University of Bristol

Even though my time here has been brief, and at times slowed down by personal issues, I’m grateful for the exposure, support, and patience I’ve received. I want to extend a sincere thank you to @Kevin Hong , @fary , @Azhar / Zen, @Roshan Dhamu, and everyone on the team for making this a genuinely meaningful learning experience. I’ll certainly continue to follow Caprae’s progress with enthusiasm on LinkedIn. Thank you again for the opportunity and for the trust you placed in me.
Max Bandrowski, University of Surrey

Although my time here was short and disrupted by computer issues, I hope to leave on a positive note and ensure that the work I have completed reflects the training and guidance I have received. This internship has taught me many transferable skills, and I especially want to thank @Kevin Hong, @fary, @Sachiv Tahil and the rest of the team for all the effort put into making this a valuable learning opportunity. You have shown me new perspectives on leading a business and on what private equity can and should stand for in the future. I am confident that Caprae Capital will continue to be a leading force through its determination to stay true to its values and the strength of the team behind it.
Once again, thank you for this excellent opportunity. I will continue to follow Caprae’s journey with great interest on LinkedIn.

I am convinced that Caprae Capital will be a leading force through its determination to stay true to its values and I will look back at my time here very fondly, recommending it as a great company to my friends.
Once again, I want to thank Caprae for this excellent opportunity and will eagerly be following Caprae’s journey from this point onwards.
Friedrich Diekmann, University College London

I would like to express my gratitude to Caprae for this invaluable internship. I am leaving with robust, real-world experience in lead generation, email outreach and management, market research, and due diligence. @Kevin Hong @Sachiv Tahil @Jamie Zhang I’m grateful for your mentorship, teaching me the intricacies of research and due diligence but giving me a practical understanding of the industry. The experience in email QA has been particularly formative. I learned that strong writing is fundamental to success in this industry. Your feedback was always constructive and helpful. I appreciate that Caprae fostered a learning environment where high standards never felt intimidating. Thank you all for the profound impact on my professional development.
To the entire team, it has been a true pleasure working with you and watching Caprae grow. These hands-on learnings have been incredibly meaningful for my professional journey. Thank you once again for everything.
Haidong Liang, UC, San Diego - Rady

@Kevin Hong @Sachiv Tahil @Jamie Zhang I’m grateful for you guys trusting me with more and more advanced tasks as time went by, and teaching me a lot about search funds and LLM PE. The Sunday deal recaps were extremely informative, working on DD but also all other tasks including lead gen, writing emails, cold calling (which took some courage!) sharpened my attention to detail and financial skills. Your feedback always helped, and was never harsh for no reason or unjust in any way. @Gabriele Peyrano I’ll remember how you led our team flawlessly as a mentor intern, and I’m sure you’ll only keep improving over time. I’ll leave with lots of stories to tell, and will promote Caprae to all students potentially interested in joining the program. Thanks for everything, and I’ll always be following Caprae and looking out for any updates - hope I can also keep you guys updated.
Hippolyte Bettarel, EDHEC Business School

I sincerely appreciate the guidance and support I’ve received, especially from @Gabriele Peyrano during the research and the experience in the residency team.
Thank you again for the experience and mentorship. @Kevin Hong @Sachiv Tahil @Radit

Also, thank you to @Azhar / Zen for your work in the cold calls. Thank you again for the opportunity.

Though short, my experience here at Caprae will forever be one of the most unique I will have, being able to be a part of a fast growing, multinational company that takes a refreshing approach to buyside finance.
I am deeply grateful for the guidance provided:

Nathaniel Yu, The London School of Economics

Thank you so much for the opportunity to be part of Caprae. I’ve learned so much, not just in finance, but across so many areas of the business. In my four months here, I’ve had the chance to work on recruiting, research, lead generation, QA, and account management. These experiences have been incredibly valuable, and I’m truly grateful for the trust and exposure you’ve given me. I know I wouldn’t have had these opportunities in many other internships.
I’ll always be proud to be a Caprae alumni, and I genuinely hope the company continues to grow into the potential I know it has.
Thank you again for everything. It’s been an amazing learning experience, and I’m grateful to have worked with all of you.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. This internship has been more than just a learning experience — it’s been a journey that pushed me to think beyond the ordinary and grow both as a developer and as a person.
A special thanks to @Rafi Sy Sy, my first mentor here, for guiding me patiently and shaping my foundation at Caprae. To @Kartik, not just a great colleague but also a wonderful friend — your support made every challenge easier. @Zackary Beckham, you’ve been one of the most encouraging and genuinely supportive people I’ve met. And @Romit Chatterjee, your mentorship and constant motivation have meant a lot throughout this journey.
I’m truly grateful to everyone at Caprae for the collaboration, the laughs, the late-night problem-solving, and the endless learning. I’ll carry all these memories and lessons forward with me.
Thank you all once again — it’s been an incredible ride.
Gourav Birwaz, MITE

I am deeply grateful for the time, trust, and relationships I was given here, and this is an experience I will carry with me for a long time.
What stayed with me most is the importance of story over numbers ( or business over pure finance). Paying attention to expenses, vendor relationships, and patterns of spend is often how you understand what a business truly is, not just how it reports.
I was equally inspired by the focus on the human side of investing. Motivating owners and aligning teams to do the right thing remains essential, especially as tools and automation continue to accelerate execution. Judgment, trust, and incentives still matter deeply.
I also valued seeing how operators step in to create momentum. Business development, communication, and selling are not separate from investing. They are often how value is created in practice.
This experience shaped how I want to operate going forward. With an entrepreneurial mindset, a bias toward action, and a willingness to build alongside others. Private investing feels less like observing from the outside and more like moving forward together.
Thank you again for the trust and responsibility throughout the internship. A special thank you to @Kevin Hong for the guidance and standards, and to @Jamie Zhang for the collaboration and support. I am also grateful to those who worked closely with me on deals and cold calling sessions.
Wishing everyone continued success and all the best in the ventures ahead.
Sophia Wong, Ivey Business School at Western University

It has been a pleasure working at Caprae. Gaining experience with LG, emails, marketing, cold calling, and research papers has helped me grow significantly, especially in my writing & research skills. I know these skills will benefit me throughout my career.
Over the past 20 weeks, I’ve truly appreciated learning from @Kevin Hong. I love Kevin’s emphasis on depth, which clearly influences how this company operates and maintains its unique position. Having the chance to learn from his insights and thought process has been invaluable.
Also, a special thanks to @Gabriele Peyrano, @Sachiv Tahil, @Gus Mehling, and @Jamie Zhang. Your leadership made my experience so much smoother, and I never felt lost thanks to your clear instructions. I also want to thank @Radit for all the support behind the scenes.
This was my first internship, and I am certain it was not a typical experience. I appreciate the opportunity. I will continue to follow Caprae’s news and wish you all the best in 2026.
Joel Leung, University of Strathclyde

I’m extremely grateful for the exposure, trust and flexibility I'm given here. From cold calling and doing mocks to earn promotion, to learning how to avoid the “double dog” and write emails that sound like Kevin, to writing research papers on interesting industries, and doing DD on live deals, I’ve learnt far more than I ever expected when I first joined.
Special shoutout to you guys for being great teammates and for inspiring me with your passion and dedication: @Jamie Zhang, @Gabriele Peyrano, @Sachiv Tahil, @Gus Mehling, @Vedika Bajaj, @Anthony Huang, and @Azhar / Zen for always being so friendly when I join the cold call zoom. And of course, thank you so much @Kevin Hong, for your guidance and for inspiring me with your work ethic and ambition.
I am truly excited to see what 2026 has in store for Caprae. With the team and leadership here, I’m confident that Caprae will continue to soar high!
Thank you again for the opportunity, and happy new year!
Katherine Wu, The Wharton School

I am very grateful for being part of the Caprae community and getting to know everyone. The experiences I had during this internship was truly memorable and I got to learn a lot about the PE industry.
I would especially like to thank @Roshan Dhamu, @Aleks Krasimirov Kimov, @Sachiv Tahil, @Gabriele Peyrano, @Jamie Zhang, and @Azhar / Zen for all the guidance I had during my internship as well as @Kevin Hong for his guidance and support. Thank you again for the opportunity.
Alice Xu, Emory University - Goizueta Business School

Although my time at Caprae has not been the longest, it has been one of the most educational and fulfilling internships I have had. I learned to approach lead generation more strategically by working across different industries, geographies, markets, and company sizes, and I became much more comfortable communicating with founders and business owners through cold calling.
I am also grateful for the recent promotion to QA intern, which gave me exposure to the quality assurance side of the process and strengthened my attention to detail. In addition, supporting Valwell marketing was a highlight and helped me better understand how to craft engaging and effective content.
Thank you to @Kevin Hong for the opportunity and for trusting me with increased responsibility. Thank you as well to @Harvey Diaz for bringing me onto the team and supporting me from the start. Thank you to @fary for your guidance during cold call sessions and for always being willing to answer my questions. I also appreciate the account managers overseeing the various deals. It was a pleasure working with all of you.
